Has Havn considered federating via ActivityPub? This W3C standard enables decentralized interaction across platforms like Mastodon, Lemmy, PeerTube, etc. Federation would expand Havn’s reach, boost user engagement, and increase platform resilience by tapping into the growing Fediverse ecosystem.

By allowing users to follow and interact with Havn content from other federated apps, Havn could attract new communities without sacrificing its core identity.

2. A Unique Niche: Federated, Anonymous Discussion

While many platforms aim to replace Reddit, none have tried to be a federated alternative to imageboards like 4chan. These boards offer a distinct experience—anonymous, fast-paced, and low-friction. Havn could pioneer a new niche by combining this style with federation.

Imagine a platform where users can post and engage anonymously, but content can still be discovered and shared across the Fediverse. This hasn’t been done—and it’s a chance for Havn to lead, not follow.
